Location:
International Conference Hall, Floor 4, Building for Humanities and Social Sciences, Academia Sinica
Organized by:
National Applied Research Laboratories
As more and more genetically modified animals (GMAs) are being produced and used as tools in advanced biomedical research field, it is necessary for us to know whether those GMAs require special care and if any special observation or record is needed to make sure the study goes well. In addition, how 3Rs can be applied to the creation, maintenance and research use of GMAs will be introduced. Managing GMA colonies, including creating new GMA, breeding for supply or experimental use, transporting and welfare assessment are also important for new laboratory animal caretakers and investigators.
